全球胜任力：除了学习，你应该做一些其他的事情

　　高考和中考都已先后落幕。新高一和即将变成大一新生的同学，都在为自己的后期学习做新的规划和准备。安排补课和辅导，是暑假的学生必不可少的内容。可是除了学习，我们还可以为自己安排些更丰富的活动。

　　You should do something else besides studying. Something like going to cinemas with friends, visiting local museums or travelling to historical cities.

　　Beside加上s可以是介词，也可以是副词，通常用来补充信息。在这里besides作为介词使用，等同于as well as.有的同学会问，beside 和 besides用法一样吗？表达的意思有什么不同吗？ Beside是一个介词，通常用来谈论物理位置。假期赴朋友的生日会时，喜欢你的男同学会对你说：Come and sit beside me. 前期准备考试时，每天久坐，缺乏运动。现在，I’m going to practice now because I have got time and besides, I need to. besides用作副词时,等同于moreover.但是这是moreover的非正式用法。
